CRISBY Foundation Engages Students on Career Development and Innovation

In May 2025, CRISBY Foundation visited Government High School Bertoua to carry out an impactful session focused on career development and innovation. This initiative aligns with our commitment to prepare youth for life beyond the classroom by equipping them with the right tools, guidance, and opportunities.

Our main audience during this outreach was students in examination classes—Form 5 and Upper Sixth—who are at a critical stage in their academic journey. We believe that providing career orientation at this point helps students make informed decisions about their futures.

A key highlight of the session was the introduction of the Hult Prize—a global competition that encourages university students to solve the world’s most pressing social challenges through entrepreneurship. By sharing success stories and opportunities related to the Hult Prize, we aimed to ignite a spirit of innovation and leadership among the students.

In addition, we engaged students in discussions around career pathways, the importance of soft skills, and how to align personal interests with long-term goals. The session also provided students with the opportunity to ask questions and reflect on their aspirations.

This activity is part of CRISBY Foundation’s broader mission to bridge the gap between education and employment while nurturing future leaders and change-makers in Cameroon.

We thank the administration and students of Government High School Bertoua for their warm welcome and participation. Together, we are shaping a future of hope, skills, and opportunities.
